Richmond Hill

In the 1930s, Henry Ford established a winter community from which sprung the town of Richmond Hill. Since then the area has grown to become a stable family oriented town free of the occasional congestion and hub-bub of Savannah. The modern day Ford Plantation offers world class amenities in a private gated setting. The town of Richmond Hill continues to blossom and offers one of the best school systems in the area. Centrally located between Hunter Army Air Field and Fort Stewart, the area is popular with military families. Access to the Ogeechee River and Fort McAllister make this a perfect location for active families.
